POLICIES & PRIVACY
Boundaries, stated plainly.
Deposit, rescheduling, age, and payment policies are published below. Where a detail is still being finalised — investment ranges, safety credentials, and a few others — we say so plainly rather than guess.
Your information
How your booking request is handled.
What the booking request collects
Your contact details, the project context you choose to share, optional reference images, and the timing information you provide.
Why it is collected
To review your request, identify artist fit, and continue the conversation with you. It is not used for advertising.
Measurement
Analytics only runs if you accept it, and never receives your project details, references, or messages.
Your control
You can ask the studio to correct or delete your request information at any time.
Booking & deposit
Confirmed by deposit, not by conversation.
Deposits
A booking is confirmed only once a deposit of 20–30% of the agreed investment is received. The deposit is deducted in full from your final price.
When a deposit becomes non-refundable
Once design, planning, or consultation time has been invested in your piece, the deposit reflects that work and is no longer refundable — this includes cancellations and no-shows.
Rescheduling
A confirmed session can be rescheduled once, with at least one to three days' notice, and the deposit carries forward. A second reschedule needs the studio's approval or a new deposit.
Age policy
Clients under 18 require the written consent of a parent or legal guardian. As a general practice, we prefer to avoid tattooing minors wherever possible.
Payment
Clear before you pay.
Accepted payment methods
Cash, card, bank transfer, and secure payment links.
VAT
Cash payments carry no additional charge. Card payments carry a 14% VAT on the card-paid amount only, always disclosed before you pay.
Studio policies
Published only once approved.
The following are still being finalised and are therefore not published as studio policy: public investment ranges, currency and studio minimum; travel and aftercare acknowledgement wording; lead center owner, hours and service level; approved safety, hygiene, credential and studio evidence; verified client reviews or approved project stories; approved launch artists and specialisms; approved portfolio taxonomy and launch projects; public studio address, hours and contact channels; file retention and deletion wording; full legal privacy notice and consent version text; english-only or bilingual launch, and final web fonts; analytics and consent platform credentials. Anything relevant to your project is confirmed with you directly before you are asked to commit.
