Egypt's civilization, cultural depth, and personal identity made permanent. We are not a studio trading in stock imagery, and we do not treat Egyptian culture as a touristy, generic souvenir motif — we draw on these symbols, this culture, this civilization as inspiration and idea, understood and appreciated, never copied the way anyone else might. The result is built around your reference, your body, and your intent, not pulled from the same set of motifs every visitor sees.
Detail level, line weight and composition depend on where the piece sits and how large it is, so those are decided together rather than afterwards.
The same reference can be built as fine line, black and grey, colour or a larger composed piece. Your artist works the direction into the style that suits it.
What draws you to the shape, the figure, the period or the memory guides which elements are kept, simplified or emphasised, so the piece feels personal rather than interchangeable.

MEANING AND CONTEXT
What you want the piece to carry is settled before the design decisions are made. Tell us the intent and the reference, and the drawing follows from there.
A memory, a person, a place, a belief or a moment in Egypt — naming it early keeps the piece yours rather than a decorative motif.
A museum photograph, a temple detail, a wording you have chosen or a sketch lets your artist work precisely with the visual direction you intend.
Egyptian symbols and inscriptions can carry period-specific, religious, linguistic and modern layers. We design from the source you bring rather than offering scholarly or historical verification of it.
HOW A CUSTOM PIECE COMES TOGETHER

ONLINE CONSULTATION
When the idea involves a symbol, a figure, an inscription, a personal story, several mixed references, or a placement and style you are still unsure about, an online consultation is used to clarify what matters before final design work begins. Not every request needs one.
The conversation covers your intended meaning and context, the visual direction, placement and scale, and what has to stay essential in the piece. It can happen while you are still planning the trip, before you are in Cairo. It is not a scholarly or translation service.

Where the idea needs it, a consultation is arranged with your assigned artist.
Once the brief and the visual direction are agreed, the first design draft follows where appropriate.
With the draft and direction agreed, a deposit of 20–30% of the agreed investment moves the piece into final design execution and confirms your session. It is deducted in full from your final price, and is non-refundable from that point under the published policy.

REAL WORK, REAL RANGE
All work shown is made at MORSE INK, credited to the artist who tattooed it. Style range matters more than picking a motif: the same reference can be built as fine line, black and grey, colour, or a larger composed piece.
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Workstation preparation, single-use materials where applicable, and professional inks and equipment from established international tattoo suppliers are part of a repeatable routine. The process is explained before the session, and aftercare is explained before you leave.

AFTERCARE BEYOND THE SESSION
A piece tied to a symbol, a story or a place still has to fit the next few days and any onward travel. Your artist explains aftercare in person and gives you written guidance for your placement and the work carried out — follow that first; the outline below is here so you can plan around it.
Where appropriate, a second-skin tattoo bandage is applied after the session. While it stays properly in place it acts as a physical barrier from everyday contact, clothing, and dust.
Once the instructed wear period is over, you begin gentle cleaning and moisturiser exactly as your artist explains it, and that routine continues for roughly twelve further days through the next stage of healing.
If the bandage lifts, leaks, or comes off early, contact the studio instead of guessing the next step and we give you guidance for your specific case.
MORSE INK stays available for aftercare follow-up through the first fifteen days, including after onward travel or once you are home. That figure is how long the studio stays available to you — not a point at which care stops.
Raise swimming, beach days, strong sun, and flights before the appointment so the session is timed sensibly around them.
